Yesterday, A female first time visitor was left stranded in Lagos Nigeria, after an Uber driver  robbed her of over a million naira. The victim, who is a South African and has been identified as Mo (Mongy Mathobela), wrote: “I’m a visitor in Nigeria. I went to the bank to withdraw money in Lekki, so he saw the money that I had it in my bag. He left me stranded on the road luckily, I had my phone on me because I wanted to buy something on the side of the road. I even bought him food and paid him more than what he was supposed to be paid and inside my bag it was my passport and money 500k naira and $2000. Please help me share this so that I can get my passport and go back to my country my flight is on Thursday I do not have a passport. Pls help.” Now, the Uber driver has been arrested.. A couple of weeks ago international rap group  Migos  performed in Nigeria during the Beat99.9FM concert and they had such a good time with a lot of Nigerians really  vibing  to their music as they performed. While in Nigeria, they also shot a music video. The trio, however, had an interview recently that Nigerians – especially Twitter NG – are not too pleased with. -Nigerian Beauty Queen Narrowly Escapes Burning To Death, As Her G-Wagon Goes Up In Flames. Maryam Elisha, an ex-Nigerian beauty queen and designer escaped being burnt alive, as  her G-wagon went up in flames on the Eko Bridge in Lagos. SDK reports that the Maryam was saved by passers-by who got her out of the burning car, as she tried stopping the car whose brake failed at that moment, with the car doors jammed as if it was locked from outside. “When the car eventually started to slow down, I put it on park and tried to open the door, which wouldn’t open until people came to my aid and helped me out before the fire spread everywhere,” she said.
