GIST: DAVIDO SIGNS IDOWEST TO DMW

Davido has signed street-hop singer, Idowest to his label, DMW Records.

The DMW boss broke the news to the public via Instagram. Davido shared a video of the Shepeteri singer singing the dotted lines, on his Insta story. He followed it up another post which contains a picture that captures the scene of the contract signing. His post was captioned,

‘Welcome to DMW !! IDOWEST!!!!!! You have proved ur worth!!!! NOW LETS GET MONEY!! JI MASUN!! Cc@officialidowest @prince_ii ?’

Clearly, Davido is expanding his DMW ‘Gang’ with the addition of the singer to the team which already boasts of the likes of Mayorkun, Peruzzi, Dremo, Yonda and producer, Fresh VDM. Idowest who is one of the vanguards of the shaku shaku trend, is expected to bring a different type of energy and creativity to the team – a little more flavour of grass root music and crude sound which could help DMW get some extra amount of street love.
