TAI SOLARIN UNIVERSITY SCHOOL HOSTEL HAS BEEN INVADED FOR THE THIRD TIME!!
As at 3:15 AM, I heard girls screaming that everyone should wake up and be alert cause were being robbed. I woke up with so much fear in my heart "why must this repeat itself" everywhere was dark, the securities didn't come on time, we were scared for our lives and properties.
I called one of the girls that had a lot to say about the occurrence and this was what she had to say
" I came out of my room to urinate, I just closed the door slightly, only for me to come back and meet it wide open, I couldn't sleep again cause I was the only one in the room so i went to my friends room, few minutes later we started hearing voices of a male and a female arguing outside, we wanted to go out and check what was happening but we were scared, the noise was getting too much we had to come out to find out what going on only to hear that they've succeed in stealing a laptop from the first room downstairs so we immediately raised an alarm"
The first time this happened, phones an laptops were stolen, the management did nothing about it, they only make fake promises that there was going to be security light at night. They tried to rob again for the second time but they didn't succeed cause a girl had fortunately sighted the trying to jump the fence and had raised and alarm early.
Our lives has been at risk this past few months but everyone has refuse to speak! our parent choose the school hostel cause they thought it was safe, we can't continue living like this, it is not a thing of joy that we can't sleep with our two eyes closed.
Our doors are bad, we sleep in the dark, A whole school hostel.
The management won't find a solution to this problems to ensure our safety, instead they take actions on things that not even necessary.
I am pissed! I can't take it anymore, I have to speak for my fellow girls cause this rubbish has to stop before it ruins the reputation of the school!
